Payroll and HR software configured to Algerian regulation

Payroll is where an international ERP breaks. It is also the module that configures best when you know the local ground.

International ERPs do not handle Algerian payroll out of the box: the IRG income-tax scale, CNAS and CASNOS contributions, the annual DAS return, the G50, leave accrual and customary allowances follow local regulation that no publisher ships preconfigured. ARTEC INT configures payroll and HR on Odoo against the Algerian rules in force: compliant payslips, correctly computed contributions, and social and tax declarations produced from the system instead of re-keyed. The configuration is established with your HR team and your accountant, then kept current as regulation changes.

No commitment — you leave with an order of magnitude.

What the solution covers

Payroll compliant with Algerian law

IRG scale, employee and employer CNAS contributions, deductions and exemptions, customary bonuses and allowances, overtime, SNMG. Rules are configured rather than hard-coded: a regulatory change propagates without redevelopment.

Social and tax declarations

Declarative returns produced from payroll data — annual DAS, periodic declarations, G50 — instead of being rebuilt by hand in a spreadsheet at period end.

Personnel administration

Employee records, contracts and amendments, annual leave and time off in lieu, absence, sickness, disciplinary records and administrative documents generated from the file.

Time, attendance and clocking

Attendance tracking, team and shift planning, rotation management, feeding payroll directly with no re-keying between the clock and the payslip.

Scope

Concretely, you get

  • Compliant payslips, in French and Arabic
  • CNAS and CASNOS contributions, current IRG scale
  • Annual DAS and periodic declarations produced from the system
  • Annual leave, time off in lieu and absence tracked per employee
  • Payroll history reconstructable, payslip by payslip
  • Configuration updated as regulation changes

Frequently asked questions

Does Odoo genuinely handle Algerian payroll?

Not out of the box: Odoo provides a generic payroll engine and localisations for certain countries, but Algerian payroll requires dedicated configuration. That configuration is what we build — contribution rules, IRG scale, payslip structures, declarative returns — and then maintain. The engine is standard; the rules are local.

What happens when regulation changes?

Scales and rates are parameters, not code. A change propagates as a configuration update, with no redevelopment or migration. That is precisely why we refuse to hard-code rates, even when it would be quicker at the outset.

Can existing payroll history be migrated?

Yes, and it's recommended for annual cumulative totals and declarations. We migrate the totals needed to compute IRG and leave correctly, and tell you honestly what is migratable and what will stay consultable in the old system.

Can payslips be issued in Arabic?

Yes. Odoo handles multilingual documents including Arabic script, and payslip layout is adapted accordingly.

Does our payroll data have to leave the company?

No. Payroll is the most sensitive data a company holds: hosting on your own infrastructure or with an Algerian provider is both possible and common for this perimeter.

Have your payroll audited before you change tools

A conversation to review your current configuration, your declarative gaps, and what a single ERP would concretely change.

No commitment — you leave with an order of magnitude.
