What does an ERP project cost in Algeria?

The cost of an ERP project in Algeria breaks into four items: publisher licences (often the smallest), integration effort (configuration and development), data migration, and training with go-live support. For an SME deploying a sales-and-inventory perimeter on Odoo, the full project generally lands between a few months' and a year's equivalent of a manager's salary — the range is wide because the dominant factor is not the software but the state of your data and processes. Any figure quoted before that real perimeter has been examined is an invented number.
The item everyone underestimates: data
Data migration regularly accounts for a quarter to a third of total effort, and it is the item most often missing from aggressive quotes. Extracting items, partners, stock and balances from what exists — spreadsheets, a legacy system, paper — cleansing them, loading them, checking the gaps and repeating until the numbers reconcile: that work does not compress.
A quote that doesn't itemise data migration isn't cheaper. It's incomplete, and the difference will be paid in change orders or in failure.
Licences: Community, Enterprise, and the free-software trap
Odoo Community is free but covers neither full accounting nor payroll. Odoo Enterprise is licensed per user per year. On a typical project, licences rarely exceed 20% of three-year total cost — integration and maintenance dominate.
Choosing Community to save the licence and then rebuilding accounting as custom code is the surest way to pay for Enterprise twice.
What moves the estimate by a factor of three
Three factors dominate: how many modules go live simultaneously, how much custom development is demanded, and the real availability of your teams during the project. A process owner with no time to validate configuration costs more than any technical overrun.
The countermeasure is phasing: start with the subset that fixes the most expensive problem, go live, then extend. Each phase has a closed budget and a success criterion.
How to read an integrator's quote
Require licences and services to be separated, data migration itemised, assumptions about your team's availability stated, and the annual maintenance cost after go-live shown. Ask what happens if you stop after phase one: if the answer is 'nothing usable', the project is structured against you.
